The first time I went, I got the Ruben and a Guinness which was amazing and packed full of beef and layered with Swiss cheese and Sour Kraut. The second time I went and got the Buffalo Chicken Pizza which lived up to the bar set by the Ruben. I got another Guinness and a Basil Hayden and Basil Hayden Toasted both neat and with water backs. While enjoying my drink I had an amazing chat with the bartender, who is very knowledgeable about mixology.
Overall, the best place in all of northern Illinois to get a drink and food with family and friends.“

“We had a wonderful experience at RJ’s on the Lake! The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Our food was delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care. You can tell they take pride in both the kitchen and the customer experience. It’s a great spot to relax, enjoy a good meal, and feel right at home by the water. Highly recommend!“

“I always have an amazing experience at La Zona 84. From the moment you walk in, you can feel a warm and inclusive atmosphere where everyone is welcomed and celebrated. The service is truly outstanding—the staff is attentive, friendly, and always makes sure everything is just right.
