“Love me some Sandlots! I come for the Gumbo, honestly, but I've had a few other things on their menu, and have not been disappointed. I love that they offer a 'Southern' menu, and the corn beef dinner for St Patty's Day is the best in the area, hands down. I have very few critiques about Sandlots (I wish their tartar sauce for the fish fry wasn't sweet)- I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for a low key bar/restaurant in the area that serves great food!“

“I stopped in Sunday morning at the 11am opening time. I had the place to myself and had the pleasure of hanging out with Justin. The , he served me up some amazing ribs. So tender and full of flavors. Alongside these he served me this amazing side of smoked chicken pasta salad (get it!). I ate almost all of the Cole slaw which I never do. Both it and the potato salad I received had like a German flair to them. Both also some of the best I’ve had anywhere. Hidden gem only 35 minutes from the house! Thanks, guys!“

Perfect seasoning, healthy chicken, and so much more affordable than the big chains. They are so good I had to order 3 dozen to go. “Friend of mine introduced me to this place around 2 months ago and we now go every Saturday. The food is absolutely amazing and cannot beat her prices.From the homemade chips n dip to the salad to the main course... Steak and chef's choice on potato/veggie. “Happened to be in Antioch with my daughter and stopped in The Lodge for a late lunch. I had one of the best, if not the best chicken wrap with fries. It was wrapped, then heated on the outside, delicious. My daughter had a grilled cheese with tomato with onion rings, she loved it. We were too full to eat desert, but we took a piece of homemade tiramiso with. It was a slice of heaven. Great service and wonderful food“
“Went here for the first time a few weeks ago the staff and owner were super friendly and welcoming. I decided to go back to eat a few days later with my family all the food was great and we are quite picky!! This will definitely be one of our new go tos whether it be for lunch/dinner or just a quick beer. “Our truck broke down and we were forced to come here while we waited for a tow truck. The service was amazing. As was the food. The only thing that was out of place was some weird drink blonde haired lady at the slot machine starting freaking out and calling my diverse friend racist. I'm not sure if "Karen" is there all the time . But after she left screeching, the mood got back to normal and everything was back to enjoyable.“

“I've been here a few times now since the change from Touch of Class and am always pleasantly surprised at the quality. The food is great, and usually exactly what I'm wanting. The chef has dropped by my table a few times after we've eaten just to make sure everything was good and what we were wanting. The service is always rather quick and polite too! The overall ambience seems to still be developing as time goes on but nothing bad. A great "burger" joint (with far more selections) that hopefully continues into the future.“

“I stopped in today by chance, I was hungry and have passed this place several times over the years. This place was amazing. I had a cheeseburger which was delicious. My girlfriend had the Nashville chicken Flatbread which was also delicious. We also had the wonton cheese sticks, they were awesome. Our waitress Makayla was great, very friendly and had great knowledge of the menu items. The bar tender Emily also greeted us and asked how the drinks were. Great place, very clean and welcoming. Would definitely recommend.“
