B.J. Wentker's is a special restaurant known for its amazing food and unique drinks. Guests often enjoy the well-prepared meals. The atmosphere is lovely, and the homemade dishes like scallops over mushroom ravioli are delicious. The restaurant also offers a Friday fish fry with fried cod, crispy potato pancakes, wonderful coleslaw, and warm rye bread—some of the best in years. The chef and owner are passionate about their restaurant, making it a must-visit dining destination. Visitors frequently praise the atmosphere and the quality of the food, with many looking forward to returning to try more dishes like sandwiches or other specialties. The tenderloin sandwich served on garlic bread with Bourbon sauteed mushrooms is amazing. The Power Bowl with quinoa, kale, avocado, crispy brussels sprouts, cucumber, and salmon fillet is so delicious & flavorful. Berry cobbler with vanilla ice cream for dessert is perfectly sweet. The fish fry is as good as any place in Burlington. The Pork Shank with mash/greens is also good. Staff was great and drinks were good with large selection of spirits. Empress Gin and Tonic was especially good. The food is phenomenal.
