“MUST STOP PLACE! Every time we are in the area, we make sure to stop in (at least 3, 4 or 27 times). The food isn't your every day bar food. It's absolutely over the top! Everyone is welcome and the atmosphere makes you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. I highly reccomend trying the loon juice on tap, you won't regret it. Accessible by boat, cat, utv, you name it! Make sure to stop in the gift shop on your way out!“

“December 2022 (sorry for the late review) hosted our groom's dinner here. Fabulous food for 40 people (est.) all delicious, spectacularly home-made dinners, salads, appetizers. Throughout the planning process Sarah was patient. gracious, informative, flexible...just top notch all around! They handled everybody seemlessly from meat eaters to vegetarian to vegan. Next time I am in N Wisconsin, this is the only place I want to eat! I can't say enough about their food! I am drawing a blank on thr chef/owner's name but he and Sarah - they are running a true gem of s restaurant in these great woods!Oh my gosh! If he is making onion rings - don't pass up the opportunity!

“Diane is working by herself so don’t expect snappy service. She is absolutely delightful and a pleasure to talk to about anything. You can order whatever you want as long as it’s a burger and fries. And let me say that the half pound burger on a sourdough bun is among the BEST I’ve ever had. We enjoyed the quaint and cozy atmosphere as well. She only takes cash so be prepared and tip her well.“
