These owners are hometown proud, and making great updates to a place that's been loved for decades!!! They're terrific neighbors, too. Cierra is a fantastic bartender! Have a Bloody Mary, and stay for live music on the patio.
Small local bar with good energy and good food. Don't let deb discourage you. Her bark is worse than her bite. The staff is all amazing, some you need to take with a grain of salt but we love them all anyways
This isn't actually called Mel's anymore, but it's a fun place to listen to music. I listened to the 40 Fingers band, who were excellent. I ate the steak bites, which were quite tasty. My only complaint is that getting a drink at the bar took too long for myself, my mother, and I noticed, even members of the band who wanted a soda. Too much chatting and not enough serving. They'd probably make more money if they were more vigilant about this. I greatly enjoyed...
