Mathew is a really wonderful guy! Interesting life story. What's even better is his food and prices!! We had a miserable travel experience through Chicago to visit our family in Clintonville. Mathew's was a great antidote!! Great, tasty steaks, shrimp cocktail and sides! Fabulous food at unbelievable prices!! Taking our family there tonight!!

Horrible!!! Waited over a half hour and didn't even get to order drinks. Only 2 other tables were there before us. Terrible service

Made reservations at this establishment and arrived about 15 min early. Mathew the owner walked by and didn't acknowledge our existence and only ordered the hostess to make sure she seated the bar patrons before us. She responded that we had reservations. Seemed to be a bit of a hassle for the hostess and owner but we got seated and ordered a drink. At 6pm on a Sat night one would think a place like this would be packed but only a few groups were seated and maybe about 12 people in the bar. When we left around 8pm Mathew was the only one left and enjoying a drink behind the bar. The food was excellent...our group had a range from prime rib to scallops to walleye. Some dishes could have been hotter/some of potato's were cold, but overall the food was spectacular. Salads very good as the beef soup. As we finished our meal, Mathew visited with one table of fellow old timer friends and asked for a fatty piece of meat off his plate, ate it, patted the guy on the back and walked off. The waitresses, particularly ours, Sam, were amazing. She was attentive and very sweet. The hostess didn't seem particularly interested, or pleasant, and seemed annoyed that we got there 15 minutes early when the place was about 20% full. She didn't seem particularly pleased when the 25% tip was added to the credit card instead of cash. It's a shame Sam probably has to split it with staff who don't deserve it. It's a shame that Matthew and his hostess are not more pleasant people because this place should be absolutely packed for the great food and stiff drinks as it well exceeds Wisconsin supper club standards by far in that area. 4.5 stars on the food. 5 stars for Sam. 0 stars for Mathew and his hostess.

We frequent for lunch. Delicious wraps. Quick and competent service. Very reasonable prices, like same as fast food only way better. Atmosphere and environment is clean but maybe a little too quiet (for lunch anyway but haven't been here for dinner in years). Needs some background noise instead of listening to myself chew ?

I was there last night and ordered the 14 oz Ribeye medium rare South of the Boarder, and I can say without hesitation that it was THE BEST steak I've ever eaten. We had a large group and the staff was very accommodating and quite friendly! Will definitely be going back.

Matt the owner is awesome, has a small one between his legs, this is why is attitude ids the way it is. Everyone can’t be happy with their small winky. You know short man’s syndrome. Food is excellent and so is wait staff. The cook Jody is even better. Kinda hafta feel sorry for her putting up with the short man’s syndrome! Lol joking! Matt ids a great guy as well.

This place is awesome. The food is spectacular, and the owner is such a character. You won't believe it. It's Fargo meets Grand Torino, meets Grumpy Old Men, but it isn't an act. The whole cast is as genuine as can be. I was expecting a great meal, I got a great meal, and I felt like I was among friends.
