“The street corn tots were delicious! I would go back just for those. The burgers were good, but the beef did lack flavor. Our server was very attentive. She checked up on us often. One thing that didn't go so well was that we got the wrong order. It was our first time there so we didn't realize it, and honestly, the food took so long to come out, we forgot what burgers we ordered. So when they brought out our supposed order, my burger came with fries when I ordered a salad. I thought hey, maybe they forgot it and had fries instead. I didn't let the server know because she was busy and we were hungry, already waiting a long time for our food, and on a schedule. We needed to be somewhere and thought an hour and a half was sufficient time to eat, appearantly not. I would give this place another try, hoping that the food will come out sooner than later and that we don't get the wrong food order.”

“This place is excellent, I was able to sample 4 different smoked meats and they all were delicious. I went on a Friday for lunch and the place was consistently packed. The owner was extremely apologetic for the wait, which was no problem. she was very busy, and was still able to be kind, attentive, and happy. The family that runs the business seem like great people. My Husband raved about the cornbread, and the beans. I liked the mac and cheese. Neither of us are potato salad fans but their potato salad was good. I was not a huge fan of how the food was served, however this is an extremely busy mom and pop place, so paper and plastic probably work best for them. Eating meat out of foil is not really my jam, but the food is so good regardless. It was my friend's birthday they brought her a slice of desert, which was so lovely. I walked away from this place excited about going back soon!! If you love BBQ this hidden gem is a must!!”

“Always a tastebud’s delight. Their menu offers an excellent twist on comfort and classic foods with options for all food enthusiasts including vegetarian and vegan options. Their coffee is smooth and flavorful, their Bloody Mary is top notch, and their beer selection is pleasantly satisfying. Their staff are down to earth, friendly and attentive. Their restaurant is always welcoming and clean. Food is consistently amazing. I highly recommend.”

Everyone we encountered from beginning to end was super friendly. The food and pricing were absolutely incredible - even had leftovers for after the game! A special mention to our waitress, Judy, who was top notch and brought out one of their delicious cinnamon rolls as a birthday treat for my husband. Would definitely go back when we visit again! The atmosphere is accesible to those with physical limitations and offers a variety of seating types. Most importantly, Hop Yard has a niche on creating a community space where all people and families can gather. It’s unique to look around a space and see such a variety of people and families spending time together!”

She stocks many flavors of Chocolate Shoppe ice cream, displays an epic amount of candies and baked treats, and does custom orders (including awesome cakes!!). She always greets our daughter (Esther) by name when we stop in. It's a welcoming place for kids with a coloring table, games and, of course, ice cream and sweets! Highly recommended. “We just had a birthday party here on Sunday for our two 7 year old boys. We reserved a room with one of the party packages, which included a ranch hand, pizza, ice cream, drinks, gift bags and arcade cards for each kid, and very accommodating staff. Nick is always friendly and provides great service every time we visit.”

Over the years they have gotten better and better and keep bringing out new things! Here is a cake I ordered for my boyfriend who also has celiac. It was carrot cake and tasted so good!”
