“I was bringing my mom home after we had delivered some furniture to my sister's and it was decided before we were even a block away from her house that we were going to go just a little out of the way to stop here. It was getting late in the day and we were pretty worn out from the lifting and travel so neither one of us wanted too much as far as cooking. We were not disappointed and in fact we were pleasantly surprised that stopping actually put us in better moods. The person who had taken our order was very friendly and polite. Then when we had placed our order and pulled up to the window, the gentleman that gave us the order was just as professional. Double bonus in my book. Seems that you don't always get that nowadays. Our order was correct and was freshly made. Triple bonus time. Thank you Burger King in Cumberland, Wisconsin for being a great group of people who are working in a sometimes thankless job and for making a long day more tolerable without even realizing it.“

“My wife and I were en route from Center City, Minnesota, to Eau Claire, Wisconsin. We were driving East on US Hwy 8 when we entered Turtle Lake, WI. We both needed to take-a-break when we saw, off to our right, this Subway Sandwich Shop part and parcel with a Gasoline Station. So we pulled into the Subway and went inside.\n\nClean and fresh, looking like every other Subway we have visited all over the United States as well as foreign countries. Two sandwich masters worked together to prepare us a 12-inch tuna foot-long on Italian Herbs and Cheese bread. Our foot-long was as good as they can possibly get. We like the bread toasted extra dark and crispy and it was done to perfection. \n\nA great visit. A great tuna foot-long. A great rest stop.“
