“We were in the area and wanted to find a local dish fry on the way. We found Time Flies and we’re NOT disappointed.The atmosphere is local bar and grille type. The decor was a whole lot of clocks on the walls and anywhere else they could put them, lots to look at.Seating was good and tables not too close together.We had the fish fry that also comes with the salad bar. There’s also a Friday night seafood bar. The service and staff so friendly and welcoming. Overall, the food tasted fresh and homemade.The fish was not a heavy batter, which is always a plus. The applesauce was homemade. Amazing!! And the potato pancakes were a risky choice but these were the BEST potato pancakes we’ve ever had. Ever!! So fresh, moist, yet crispy around the edges. Just a slight onion flavor - just perfect. And to top it off - REAL maple syrup, not the corn syrup based.The staff knew we weren’t from the area and shared some of the local upcoming events with us. We were there early in the evening before the big crowd, so were happy to get all that time with them.This place is definitely worth the stop. Other menu items looked good too and reasonably priced. We hope to be back when we are in the area again.

“Excellent friendly service! Bartender was very friendly!! Beer is served in chilled mugs. She took our lunch order right away. This is one of the few places where the mushroom Swiss burger has a sauce on it (the way it should be served). Prices are reasonable. We will likely be back when in the area again.

Parking: Lots of room in the gravel parking lot.”

“Small town mom and pop breakfast spot. Simple, easy, and comfortable breakfast menu. I love this place anytime were in the area I swing in here. Never more then $15 total for breakfast that's ordering steak, eggs, hash browns, toast, and juice. Everyone here knows everyone very welcoming small town feel. One of my favorite places.”
