Log Cabin Store & Eatery Reviews
Our family has owned a cabin in Danbury for 45 years. We have watched the Log Cabin grow from a small gas station to a bait/hunting store, a gift boutique, restaurant, museum (local wild life catches/hunts displayed), community hub, and ice cream shop. The 1 scoop is really 2 and they are gigantic. The ice cream has always been fire! Most items sold are not locally sourced, EXCEPT the wild rice and honey- both are worth the higher price! They also sell Minnetonka Moccasins here.
I love this place and the fur hats they sell 😍
Loved the ice cream, a perfect stop to end your day with!

Log Cabin Store & Eatery is a unique spot in a rural area, offering a restaurant, gift shop, and convenience store with a rustic, "up north" atmosphere. The eatery serves good and affordable food, including the French dip and fries special, and offers a variety of ice cream flavors, including root beer floats. The store features a sports department, hunting apparel, and a wide selection of grab-and-go food items, including cheese curds and beef sticks. The interior is decorated with taxidermy fish and wildlife, making it a fun stop for families. Visitors often find many items in the gift shop, which, while a little high in price, offers good quality products typical of small "summer" towns. Staff members are friendly and helpful, and the place usually has little to no wait, making it a convenient and enjoyable stop for both food and shopping.
