Food was good. Husband got the fish fry which was lightly breaded and tasty. I got the grilled Genesee Chicken sandwich. Overall it was good but the chicken was thick. Could have been pounded down because it only covered half my bun.
Staff is friendly and we were seated right away without having reservations. Nice atmosphere -good amount of seating but well spaced so not noisy, etc. Ordered Wisco Old fashioned-just tasted like watered down bourbon, not pleasant at all. I ordered the fish fry option-3 piece baked. I was served the battered. We decided to stop on our way home from my son’s baseball tournament. I didn’t have high expectations based on the 4 star rating but wow, we had an excellent meal and service was great. My husband got the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and it was comparable to what you would find in Nashville! The Ella’s chicken wrap was also really good. The tomato soup was excellent.
