This has been the worst experience ever. We used to like this place a lot. We got a gift certificate from our kids. Drove an hour to get there and got an excuse that we had to wait 10 more minutes even though we had reservations. That was even after I called to let them know I was going to be 15 minutes later than expected and still had to wait. We dined here last night. Starters were the calamari and cheese curds (it’s Wisconsin after all) both were excellent. Specials were the impressive Waghu tomahawk steaks which were ordered with the blue cheese topping(an extra charge but so worth it if you are a blue cheese lover) and Waghu flat iron steak which is served with a Demi glacé. We went to Kurt‘s steakhouse on a Friday evening at 6 PM. We had a small fillet and the seafood plate. Oysters Rockefeller and Brussel sprouts.I am definitely a foodie I can say hands-down this was the best meal I have had in a very long time. Every part of our meal was done to perfection. Our server was polite and fun. I will definitely be going back.
