“Cafe by Country Kitchen in Dodgeville is hands down the best place to get brunch in that area. DELICIOUS food, they mention calories on every single menu item and have good vegetarian friendly options. Their pecan salad is a must try. And their service is very good. Wait staff were polite, attentive, checked in regularly and recommended alterations to my salad to fit my vegetarian as well as caloric needs. Highly recommend this place.”

“This is the second time I’ve hosted a surprise party at The Red Room, and once again they absolutely nailed it. They graciously accommodated my ever-changing plans, flawlessly handled a crowd of 100+ guests, and made the entire experience feel effortless. The space is fantastic, the staff is flexible and professional, and they somehow make chaos look classy. Highly recommend.”

“Just ordered 2 footlongs and they are amazing! The gal with dark hair and glasses was by herself, lobby was empty, ingredients were fresh and she was very precise and spot on with the amount sauce! “My husband and I were in Dodgeville just for a couple of days. Taco Bell is one of my favorites for junk food, and we don't have it often at all. I am writing a review for this location because this is the first FRESH Taco Bell chalupa that was actually made how I requested (no tomatoes), I have had in literally, close to a year. The staff here seems to enjoy their work and they actually listen and pay attention to what you order. Now that Taco Bell isn't the cheap option, and sometimes is even more than other fast food places, its so much more appreciated when they get things right!

“I love this place! They give decent meals, their menu is nice, The cook in that place is an expert, I love a lot trying all their dishes. The dishes are consistently fresh and tasty, the service towards the customers is friendly. I often eat in this restaurant and I not even once was unsatisfied. I recommend it to all my friends.”

“I first must say that I have dined here at least 6 times in the past 30 or more years, and I live more than 3 hours away. I love Mineral Point and I love the Red Roster Cafe. The building used to be a bank back in the 1800s, I believe it is still the original ornate tin ceiling. This time my wife and I were doing the Fall Art Tour in the area. We arrived at the Red Rooster about 11:45 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Sat at the counter, tables all filled. Of course the main idea was to have a pasty. This is a great place! Everything nice one could say about a small town cafe, this place has it. Very cozy, reasonable prices, very friendly service, prompt service, great ambiance, cool vibe and excellent food. It's all here. My wife and I both had a pasty, the individual, not the pie cut one. They are large and very filling. Ask for gravy with it, that's the best way to eat one. The pasty also comes with rolls and a Tuna Mac Salad for under $11. Coffee here is also excellent, bottomless cup. We shared a dessert of Bread Pudding, they make it great here, the best Bread Pudding as well. Thank you to all the staff here for a wonderful lunch!!”

“I order online almost most of the time. Im astounded by the quickness and attentiveness the workers. The owners work too and they are extremely friendly. On top of keeping this place very clean, I have never had a sandwich made incorrectly and I have ordered at least 50 times within the last year.”

“The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is great and the owner Cathy is wonderful! The owner is a one-person show and she is truly remarkable at what she does. My friends and I stopped in for lunch and couldn't have had a better experience. We all had burgers and they were absolutely delicious. Cathy was very nice to us and we'll definitely be going back. Give this place a chance and I promise that you won't be disappointed!”
