Interesting stop for nothing special bar food. Frozen fries were tasty, burger tasted good. Could see into the kitchen & the cook didn't wear gloves handling different food including putting the chips into the baskets.
Stumbled across this historic roadside tavern taking the back way home from Governor Dodge State Park. Great atmosphere and high quality tap list, a hidden treasure in the Driftless.
A nice place for friends to gather. I have enjoy most of my meals there but will not order the Friday fish fry again. The breading on the fish was like mushy dough on the inside
