Phenomenal food and service during a busy lunchtime. I ordered the corned beef with fries and, corn chowder. The fries were crunchy, the corned beef was cooked exceptionally well (not cooked fast and sliced thin), and the corn chowder was creamy with flavor.
If you're looking for a fresh breakfast that's well-prepared and served by a friendly server, Hen House is a great place to stop. Based on the parking lot, we could tell they have plenty of business, which is always a good sign of food quality and freshness. I had two eggs over easy with ham, fruit and two pancakes. The Hen House Cafe is one of those places that never disappoints. I’ve been several times now, and the food is consistently delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. On top of that, the service is always great: friendly, attentive, and welcoming without being overbearing. It’s the kind of spot that makes you want to keep coming back because you know you’ll have a good meal and a pleasant experience every time. Highly recommend!
