Food & the selection of fish was outstanding!
Service was great! I tried the ocean perch, cod, and walleye and loved them all!
We had a great Saturday evening with great food(prime rib and fish) and music from Kane Creek. We will be back!
We were excited to try their highly rated fish fry. Upon arrival on a busy Friday we asked how long to get a table? The hostess said that she would send a server over to the bar where we were sitting to take our order and we should have our fish fry in 20-25 minutes. Our server showed up 15 minutes later and took our order. We proceeded to the salad bar and then waited and waited and waited for our fish fry??? 4 Mile Restaurant & Bar offers a cozy atmosphere with insane portions of food, an amazing fish fry, and an excellent salad bar. The country bar has a variety of items on the salad bar, including homemade croutons and a house dressing. The baked walleye was tasty, and the brandy old fashioned and Bear Hug ice cream drink were delish. The restaurant is clean and comfy. The service was friendly and patient, though wait times can be long. Their cheese curds are a warning, with fried cheddar cheese cubes offered. The salad bar is delicious and the service is always top notch. They do not accept credit/debit cards, and their ATM has a fee. The walleye is perfect with light, not greasy breading and a huge filet. It is a locals spot.
