I was here looking at doing some work and decided to grab what they call bangin salad. Ive had them at restaurants many times and figured this would be just another zalad or bang bang shrimp knock off. I WAS WRONG!!. LOOK at this thing it's gigantic and the chicken and shrimp is cooked to fried perfection. Hand down best salad ever.!!!
Amazing experience. Owner was so nice, we had a great conversation. Food was amazing, and good serving sizes (not too big, not too small).
There were a few things out of stock on the menu, but it's dead of winter so I'd imagine shipments aren't 100% right now, so not the restaurant's fault in the slightest.
Best place in town, by far.

Real flavor creole soul food. Owner is proud of his family cooking tradition and it shows in the food. Simple pleasure with incredible flavor. And for UWEC students, they offer 10% off. Their fried okra is amazing and the catfish portions are HUGE!
