Food: I usually get the tuna (in the picture). It has always been excellent. The portions of meat are great compared to other sub stores in Eau Claire. The flavor is good. The appearance is also impressive for a sub place. I oftentimes get cheese curds with my sub, and those are quite good as well. Thus far, I have never had an order messed up. Considering all the sub places in Eau Claire, the bread is second only to Jay Ray's Deli.
Service: My experience with the employees here has always been respectful and helpful. Many times, they go above and beyond what I expect out of fast food workers. Particularly, the young man and lady with glasses are always helpful and working on their toes from what I see.
Atmosphere: The store is clean and reasonably comfortable. The music is a bit loud on the left side of the restaurant. It is also a bit chilly for my liking, but that is small beans in comparison with overall great experience I have at Cousins Subs. 5/5 Stars.

The subs I’ve tried from Cousins Subs have been pretty solid overall, but what really sets them apart is their cheese curds. I’ve had my fair share of cheese curds over the years (which might explain a thing or two about my waistline!), but Cousins consistently serves up some of the best. They’re always perfectly fried - crispy, golden, and never really greasy or overcooked for that matter. Too often, cheese curds from other establishments unfortunately can be disappointing, either too fried or what appears to be fried in old oil, however surprisingly Cousins nails it every time.
If you’re a fan of cheese curds, I highly recommend giving them a try. While their subs are good, it’s the curds that keep me coming back! The curds are most certainly the spotlight of this establishment.!

Drove 20 mins out of my way only for the restaurant to be closed. Said it was open and hours on door reflected this but doors were locked.

Staff are friendly however if your order is made to go it will more than likely be made incorrectly. I’ve recommended to friends and family and in the last year all of them had something wrong whether it was missing an ingredient or something wasn’t removed. Management is very nice and will offer to make it right but I’d rather not drive 20 minutes home to find out my order is wrong. Better off going to a different sub shop, or with how much the meals are now, going to a full sit down restaurant.

Amazing customer service and even better sandwiches! We stopped for lunch on a road trip through town. Our grilled sandwiches were served hot and fresh. I’ve never been served a sandwich that quickly and had it been so fresh before. The restaurant was clean and a perfect stop for our family. Thank you!
