Egg Rolls Plus is amazing every time I order from there! Their egg rolls and pad thai are the best in town!!! 10/10 recommend, locally-owned family restaurant, hard working people, very friendly.
I haven't lived in Wisconsin for over 10 years but I always make a point of stopping by when I'm back visiting family. The combination pho and Lao-style papaya salad were my favorites and I always appreciated when the older gentleman would bring extra napkins when I would order my papaya salad Lao-spicy. I really miss this place and it is what I compare all Hmong/Lao/Vietnamese restaurants against when visiting for the first time. I've found some that come close...
Take-out only, but delicious and authentic Thai food with a Lao/Hmong twist. The Thai-style papaya salad (Somtam) is delicious if a bit sweet. For something more authentic, have the Lao/Hmong version, with shrimp paste and fish sauce, the way you would find it in NE Thailand. Curry is good with very generous portions, and the shrimp fried rice and pho were exceptional. Didn’t try any desserts, but the portions were so big we couldn’t have eaten any if we’d wanted.
