The food was great. I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries, with a mountain dew. The staff were nice, they were talking to me about different subjects. And making me feel welcome. I only seen like 4ppl there but it was the middle of the afternoon.

Parking: The parking lot is also a field on the other side of the road. I have seen cars parked there on busier nights when I stopped in.

It was very warm in the bar and restaurant area. No A/C on. Drinks were reasonably priced. Food was good. Recommended by hotel staff to check out. They were able to accommodate a large group. It was slow but they did their best. Chatted with some locals so it was fine, other than being very warm inside.

First time visit after biking the MB trail. Chose this place off the reviews and was not disappointed. From the Old Fashioneds to the Fish Fry (recommend the Poor Mans), everything is made and served with a small town friendly feel. Don't go if you are in a hurry...you shouldn't be at a place like this anyway. Just relax, have a laugh and enjoy this piece of Americana!
