A converted train depot run by people with a sense of humor - and knowing that service with a smile wins friends. Lots of good cold and warm sandwich choices, sides, deserts and speciality drinks (coffee, tea, smoothies). Seating is limited (and I imagine very difficult in the summer resort season, but you can grab and go), but these people actually greet and talk with you when taking you money, acting like they appreciate customers. Reasonable prices and serving sizes.
While performing temporary work in Wisconsin we decided to explore a little during our time off. Visiting different small towns we have met some of the most wonderful, welcoming and polite people. Young and the not so young, simply wonderful people. The town of Elkhart was no exception. Visited this small restaurant and to our surprise it was magnificent. The food was excellent, they make a perfect cappuccino but the best part was the staff. Polite, professional, efficient and welcoming. Seems is all family owned or at least they acted like it. The locals frequent the place and everyone left with a smile. Was not only the food, it was the attention given by the staff. This is worth the visit, if you are lucky like we were, the farmers market will be there just across the street.

The coffee was excellent. The atmosphere was very nice. The building seems to be an old mill which has a nice touch to the feel. The muffins are exceptional: baked fresh daily - a must. Expect a long lineup during peak hours. Well worth the wait.
