Went to Otto's for breakfast. Our server was great, very friendly, the room is beautifully appointed with cool old town pics on the walls, and the food was really good.
However the cloth napkins wrapped around silverware were actually wet. Like they didnt have enough time to dry before they were taken out of the dryer. Breakfast took a long time to come out. Also there was no music or ambiance so it was oddly quiet in the room while we waited.

Interesting staff - they didn't really seem to want to have the restaurant open. We were told that they were open until 3, and we came in at 1:30.

We stay at the Osthoff every year for a marriage retreat. This is the first time we have eaten here though, and it will be the last. We went for breakfast this morning. We arrived at 7:53am and it was not too busy. We ordered 2 omelets. Around 8:35 we were really taking notice how long it was taking. Waitress didn't bother coming back or letting us know why it was taking so long or anything. Our retreat session was starting at 9:30, so we were discussing just leaving. At about 8:50 we decided next time the waitress walked by we were going to just tell her we couldn't wait any longer and go. Then at 8:55 she came out with our food, so we just ate quickly. We ate and were out within 10 minutes once the food came. Food wasn't good either. Eggs seemed like the kind that are poured from a carton, and texture felt like they were reheated in a microwave right before they were brought out. Definitely not worth the time or money to eat here.

I was here on a Friday night after a convention at the hotel. There was only two other tables already in the restaurant when I got there. I was seated right away shortly after my order was taken. The food came out fairly fast.
I ordered the Friday night fish fry and it was very tasty. It came with choice of potato, coleslaw, and dinner role.
Overall, it was a great experience and a great place to eat. The prices are good for the quality of food you get.

2 of us got seated immediately, but after that we sat for a minimum of 5 minutes without any other service. Another table was then set a group of 4 they were given water and were brought coffee and order taken. We left then without out ever getting further service.
I was charged a gratuity free and a service fee for my to go order. I won't be back. None of the fees were mentioned, so I still left a tip. These fees should be mentioned when the order is placed. Food was so

This by far has been the worst restaurant that I have experienced. It was a buffet style breakfast. It took 30 minutes to be seated. There were multiple tables open in the restaurant but people were left to wait. Had groups seated before us even though they came 10-15 minutes after us. When we were finally taken in to be seated and went out to get our breakfast from the buffet they were out of several things. Waited for them to refill. Then as we ate not a single waiter or waitress came to our table to offer us something to drink. My husband got up and went and got our table a pitcher of water. Still no one came to our table to offer coffee or to ask how our breakfast was. When we were finished and wanted to pay for breakfast my husband had to ask a worker when we would get our bill and where we pay. I proceeded to tell the waitress that not a single person came to our table the whole time we were sitting. Our table of four were definitely dumbfounded.

We are actually waiting for our check now but good lord this place was the WORST! They gave my wife's food to someone else then took it back to the warming plate. 20 minutes later served it to my wife. Plate was on fire and the food was cold. My order was ice cold, the server never came back to ask how everything was. We never got waters refilled we had to ask to get our coffee refilled, and the server did take off my wife's order but it was after we asked it to be removed.I really don't recommend anyone come here. This ranks as one of the worst experiences dining out we have had.

Our family came to Osthoff for a New Year's retreat, and we're all looking forward to our one special meal at Otto's. We were sorely disappointed, to say the least. The service was about the only redeeming quality.A few of us started with chicken tortilla soup...extremely salty, and definitely NOT chicken tortilla. There was no corn, tomatoes, OR tortilla...but there was carrots and celery? Then we ordered both bone-in and boneless wings, and received all boneless. The sauces were so salty (especially the garlic Parmesan), they were almost inedible. They had some variety for the kids...in our group, one chose Mac n cheese and the other, a cheeseburger. That macaroni looked/tasted identical to Kraft, and was all dried out. I get it, kids often like Kraft Mac, but if you're gonna serve that, price it accordingly. We were definitely disappointed with our meals, and the bill made it worse. Ouch.

Otto’s is by far the worst restaurant in Sheboygan county! We went there to experience a nice lunch in a nice hotel. We were seated and ordered cocktails. It took 45 minutes to get three Bloody Mary’s, and they only had two other tables to wait on. The waitress came for our food order way before we received our cocktails. It took exactly 1 hour and 5 minutes to get our food which consisted of three sandwich specials and two cups of soup. One sandwich was the Italian beef sandwich made of sliced prime rib which was supposed to be served with aujus which was not provided. We requested it and it took another 15 minutes to get which by that time the sandwich was cold and dried out. Two of the sandwich specials did not get fries, which was included according to menu. The same two ordered cup of soup and waitress said they swapped soup for fries. The menu did not say soup or fries and there was an extra charge for soup as an add-on. Which is what was wanted. Had to wait again for the fries. All sandwiches were dry and unappetizing. Service was horrible. It should not take a total of one hour and 45 minutes to get a lunch consisting of sandwich and soup. They did comp us for one of the sandwiches but that really does not make up for the amount of errors and time to get your drinks and food orders. Will never be going there again.

We arrived at 11:15am, ordered drinks and took 45 minutes to get them, when our meals finally got to us food was cold, had to ask for our fries which were included. Was told manager would come talk to us, that never happened. Though they did not charge us for everything we will not return , this is unexceptable for fine

We've currently been sitting here for an hour waiting for our breakfast. Our coffees have been empty for a long time. Terrible experience for a 4 diamond resort.
