Absolutely awful experience on several occasions, last week being the worst by far. We frequent Door County and have tried to give this place a second and third chance. The portions are huge, and customers enjoy dishes like blueberry pancakes, the Chihuahua and avocado omelette, and breakfast burrito. The owner is described as the best, although some have mentioned the manager could be cold. The restaurant offers made-from-scratch soup in to-go containers and caters to those with dietary concerns. Customers highly recommend visiting Blue Bear, noting the food as incredible, fresh, and delicious, alongside great service. Additionally, there is a 22% gratuity added for parties of five or more and a $6 split plate charge for anyone sharing an entrée.
