“Love this restaurant. We try to get to Barringer's every time we get up to Door County. Excellent steaks and love the shrimp cocktail. We also had the special which was halibut and it did not disappoint. If planning a trip to Door County, make reservations at Barringer's and enjoy a wonderful meal.“
“I'd recommend stopping by Hatch Distilling if you're in Door County to try out their drinks, both their spirits and the mead from their Mixed Meadia label. I was only able to stop for a short time so couldn't fully explore their cocktails, but the flight I had took me on a delightful range of flavors to give me a good sense of what they do and prompted me to get a few bottles to take home with me. On the mead side, the Vikings Blood & Honey and Lemon were my two favorites.Hatch has a large parking lot, a cool indoor seating with bar and variety of tables, and a nice patio (that I enjoyed). The bartender was helpful, and patient, as I tried to make the stressful decision of which items to select for my flight. There were more that I wanted to try than what I ended up trying, which is a good problem to have!“

“We've been going to Pasta Vino for a number of years now. The chef and the waitstaff are exemplary. It must also be a good place to work, as most of the staff have been there quite a few years. We're greeted as old friends when we walk in.The special they were offering the night we went was Lasagna, with a twist. They used a spinach based pasta instead of a wheat based one. It wasn't the same old, same old Lasagna you get everywhere else. It was a real delite to eat! My wife's meal was excellent, as well.Oh. don't forget to try the Italian Wedding soup.! Most wedding soups I had elsewhere are nothing more than an overtly salty broth with tasteless meatballs. Not here. It is a rich, flavorful broth with tasty meatballs. My wife and I get every time we come.Good food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff, what more could you ask for?“

“I ordered a ribeye steak. First couple bites were good but after that it was mostly gristle. We told waitress but she didn't do anything about it. My husband had the prime rib which was really good. Very disappointed. We've been there before and it was always good.“

“Honestly the only thing bad about this place was the attitude of the man hosting, seating and taking the phone calls.Otherwise it had a great atmosphere, the server was extremely knowledgeable and ran off all of their multiple specials and descriptions off the top of his head. We had the lobster tail and the special of sea bass and the food was absolutely divine. Definitely a must visit!“
