Great food and a wonderful atmosphere, especially for families with young children! The owners have truly thought of everything to make this a welcoming, family-friendly place. From keeping diapers and wipes available for parents to offering a toy box where kids can choose a prize after finishing their meal, it’s clear they go the extra mile to make families feel comfortable.

The food was delicious, the service was great, and it’s the perfect spot for a quick brunch or breakfast. We’ll definitely be back!

Pet friendly, kid friendly, clean and quiet. Rooms were spacious and the cafe was adorable and had nice coffee. Directly across from a great pizza spot church, and state park entrance.

The restaurant is to die for, you will love the breakfast, our 2nd time there and awesome. The staff is great. I wish we lived up there, because this is the place to go every weekend. You will always have our business.

We just spent a weekend at cottage number 7. Since it's away from town it was very quiet and we weren't bothered by the swarm of annual midge flies that are everywhere in Door County right now. The cottage was very clean and cozy. Comfy beds and heat/ac worked great (Wisconsin weather had us needing both while we were there). There was a little goody bag waiting for us when we arrived. There are hammocks, a fire pit, and yard games available. Also, the cafe had amazing food and very reasonable prices. We would stay here again for sure.

Quiet and out of the way, which is just what we were looking for in the off season. The room was cozy and clean, the service friendly, and with the location right next to Peninsula State Park and close to lots of great food places, we'll definitely be booking again.

I really couldn't happier with my stay.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
They left me a little gift bad with a note.
That was a nice touch.
The location is great.
The bed! I loved it. i would like to know the where to find the sheets, pillows and mattress.
Id go back for the bed alone.
Seriously though, my trip was amazing and this place attributed to quite a bit. I cant wait to go back while the café is open

We were so grateful that Julie’s had a space for our family (dog included) when our other lodging canceled us last minute. Should have picked Julie’s to begin with - TERRIFIC stay! Friendly staff, impecable and fun room, plenty of space, everything we needed! Thank you - we’ll be back, for sure!! 😊

There's a handful of pet-friendly lodging options in the area, all with seemingly great ratings, which makes it difficult to choose. Julie's came highly recommended, though, and I'm so happy I listened! I am so in love with this place; they know how to make human and canine guests feel welcome! The location is great (very close to Peninsula State Park) and a central location for the various Door County communities, the rooms are clean, cozy, and affordable, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and their pet rules are so reasonable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to bring their canine companion with them to Door County!

Edit: I knocked off one star due to the noise. The first two nights I stayed (Thursday and Friday) were relatively quiet. A fair amount of people stayed on Saturday, and it was obnoxious. At one point, when I was walking through the courtyard, I could hear someone screaming in one of the rooms. A little later, upon my return from dinner, I could hear a dog crying and whining in one of the rooms a few down from me, and the room above me was also booked, and it sounded like those people wrestled all evening long. It was an unfortunately noisy end to what was otherwise a nice stay.
