Weâve visited this restaurant three times, and unfortunately, this visit will likely be our last. Each time, weâve had issues with flies, but this visit was the worstâseveral were constantly landing on our food and drinks, with one even ending up in our water. It made for a very unpleasant dining experience. Additionally, we were surprised by unmentioned upcharges on the bill: $8 for onion rings and $2.50 for a side salad. The server also did not ask how we wanted our steak cooked, and it arrived overcooked. While weâve dined in outdoor settings in warm climates where flies are common, they often have measures to keep them away. Here, despite the cold weather, there were five or six flies buzzing around our table, which was both distracting and unsanitary.

We had asparagus for appetizer and a mocktail, it was wonderful, had salmon, with sweet potatoes, on bed of lettuce and mixed vegetables đ. It was all tasty.

Some extended family and I stopped in here the other day and did have great food. Unfortunately the atmosphere is so loud you can barely hear the other members of your party without shouting. Atop of this, staff was not very warm nor welcoming, they were very standoffish. Drinks werenât filled in a timely manner and we waited for our check longer than we usually do while eating in door county (which says a lot). Itâs alright if youâre looking for a yummy meal and great outdoor seating but not practical for conversation or friendly and timely service.

Came here just planning to grab a drink at the bar but ended up ordering some appetizers, the cheese curds and calamari. Both were delicious! It was actually my first time having real Wisconsin cheese curds in Wisconsin, so that was a fun first.
While we waited on the appetizers, my boyfriend and I wandered around the nearby shops, there are a bunch right by the restaurant, and they all had really cool stuff. It was a fun way to pass the time.
We ended up hanging out at the bar for about an hour or two just enjoying drinks and apps. By the time we decided we wanted dinner, it had gotten pretty busy. The bartender let us know it might be hard to get a table, and when my boyfriendâs stepdad went to check, the dining room was fully booked. So we decided to stay and have dinner at the bar, which actually ended up being a good decision. Our bartender was awesome, super friendly, easy to talk to, and really made the whole experience fun.
I got the chicken mushroom pasta (bartenderâs recommendation), and it was really good. My boyfriend and his stepdad got the chicken Parmesan, and his mom got the korma pasta, but neither of us liked that one much, glad I didnât choose it.
The drinks were great too: watermelon martinis with fresh watermelon, a key lime martini for me (so good), and a rotating cider. Overall, great food, great drinks, and a really good vibe.

Came in for a drink after walking through town. LOFT bar is up a flight of stairs- warning Not handicap accessible! There are tables ground level. We went upstairs to the bar to order drinks then sat at a table. Plenty of tables available. Good music playing (not live) and people having a good time. As we were leaving, more people started showing up for dinner. Did not have any food so I can't rate but drinks were good, average price.

Beautiful restaurant with a beautiful âopenâ ambiance. The food is amazing and fairly priced. We have been to Loft several times when visiting Door County and have not been disappointed. Would highly recommend.

Outstanding server. All 6 diners raved about their food...tuna,whitefish, salmon & pork prepared perfectly. Fun atmosphere. Would definitely return when in Door County again.
Last minute reservation was cheerfully honored as we had our little doggie with us and we dined in the lower level. Paola is the nicest hostess!!

Dined there with my siblings and their spouses for a late lunch. Food was good but I do not eat any dairy so ordered a bean burger without cheese. Did not realize I could sub fries for a charge instead of chips. Are one chip and realized they had a coating of maybe ranch in them. No where in the menu did it say they added any dairy to their chips. I opted to not eat them. Did not have any medical issues thank god from the few I did eat. So please in the future donât add that to your chips or put on your menu that you add ranch to their chips chips.

We came here with a large group of 20+ and they accommodated us well and served us timely. Cute atmosphere but the food was not great. I ordered fried cheese curds thinking they would be great since itâs local in wisconsin and they were so dried out and bad that I couldnât eat them. Very disappointing. Next we ordered the mushroom ravioli and my husband had fish. He said the fish had no flavor whatsoever and my ravioli was so off putting I had about 4 bites before giving it away. We left hungry with a bill of over $100. For just 2 of us in the group! (And we didnât even buy alcoholic drinks!) It was not a great experience. Would not return or recommend.

The atmosphere is really cool. Decent selection of cocktails and solid food menu as well. Nothing incredibly earth shattering, but no complaints and more than just OK. Worth a stop.
