Okay this was so yummy! What a cute place! Mom’s weekend getaway in Fish Creek, and we found this cafe on the last morning! Fast service, and super friendly staff. We felt so welcomed and the vibes were so happy! The food was delicious and fresh. We can’t wait to go back!

Quiet and cozy. Just what you want a coffee shop and cafe to be. Great breakfast- quiche, egg sandwiches, and skillets, plus a variety of salads, soup and sandwiches for lunch. In the main intersection of Fish Creek upstairs from the market, and not crowded even on a busy weekend.

Great coffee, great food, friendly service. Line can be long, so be patient. I usually order the specials when I dine here for breakfast. The homemade cheddar biscuits with honey and butter are great and the quiche is always good!

Delicious cheese biscuit fried egg and ham sandwich. Tostada’s real good. Best coffee I’ve had in Wisconsin so far. Service and atmosphere perfect for a snack or full lunch.

Distasteful to add an automatic 15% gratuity.
However, tostadas were tasty.

Welp- Had coffee at multiple locations in Fish Creek- THIS IS THE BEST. If you like coffee you can taste, this is the place, if you like a nice comfortable bathroom...this is also the place 😀. If you want a fun quick breakfast and don't have the time to wait 17 hours in line at White Gull for French toast, this is a really nice alternative to have a day doing stuff and not waiting to eat something...just saying. I loved it!

This might be the best breakfast in Door County. Delicious and wholesome. We had the farmer's breakfast which had better taste and none of the typical grease. The quiche of the day was unique and delicious. Great coffee too, all in a lovely second floor space overlooking the museum courtyard. Search it out , you'll be glad you did.

On the Door County Coast, it's hard to find breakfast that isn't meat-dominated and/or fried. The coffee here is amazing, the food is somehow better, and the atmosphere is a wonderful mix of urban coffee lounge and rural cutesie cafe. Cannot recommend highly enough!

P.s. the salad made me weep tears of joy

My sister and I make an annual trip to Door County. This time, we discovered the fabulous Shiny Moon Cafe. The biscuits are amazing with a delightful, buttery, cheesy flavor. You can tell everything here is made with care. We enjoyed the scones. When we visited, they had lemon/blueberry and cherry/almond. I especially enjoyed the Mexican drip coffee with a splash of oat milk. The prices are beyond reasonable for such wholesome food. Our favorite was the classic breakfast sandwich. The aioli has a bit of a kick to it, but the flavor is divine and complements the sandwich well. We dined in the cafe and took sandwiches to go — both times we were pleased with the sandwich! We also loved the balsamic on the side of mixed greens; it has a hint of sweetness that helps offset the vinegary-tang. There is a variety of seating upstairs and music playing in the background at a comfortable level. The staff is lovely — very kind, thoughtful and quick. Add the Shiny Moon to your must-stop list!

I’m going to start with the positives! This is a really cute place, loved the artwork on the walls, and the general welcoming atmosphere! The service is friendly. It’s counter service, so you order at the counter and they bring your food to you. Didn’t know this going in, but no big deal. It takes a bit for the food because they make the food fresh! It tastes freshly made, and with care. I feel it was just our personal tastes with what we ordered. We got the Eggs in purgatory, which is something I actually make at home, but it was their take on it. We found it to be very bland, fresh, but lacked the spice we were looking for. That and I almost felt it needed to be eaten with a spoon. I wish we would have tried the pork belly sandwich and the cheddar buttermilk biscuit. The coffee was very good! Very strong, but you need that in the morning. I have seen other reviews of people who loved what we ordered, so we will be back we will just try something different next time.
