Unfortunately this place is no longer what it used to be. First the name changed to just "The Hound" and now the menu has undergone a disappointing overhaul. Gone are the days of scotch eggs, poutine, and other unique menu finds. The new, much smaller menu is nothing to rave about. Basic bar food. I'm guessing they lost their chef and the great menu along with him.
We came on a Friday just before 5pm and it was not as busy as I would have expected. Only...

Great service. Lovely atmosphere. Good food. The burger could have been a bit more flavorful so added extra salt and pepper. Otherwise everything was yummy. I’d definitely visit again next time I’m in the area!

We had our server forget our cheese curds last night. Brought our food out and I mentioned it to her. She immediately apologized and I told her no worries! To my surprise she comp'd the curds even though I hadnt complained. Now THATS service. Impressed with the service, food and tunes. I had the Flying Hound Burger and the only issue was my egg wasnt as runny as I would have liked but guess what? SHIT HAPPENS. Still enjoyed it! :)
