“Out for a Saturday drive, looking for outdoor dining in the FDL area. Sadly, there aren't many choices. Stopped by Sunset and were pleasantly surprised to see their nice sized patio open for dining, right on the lake. VERY friendly and prompt service. Nice menu, including a personal favorite, gyros and even gyro salad. Will make it a stop in the future for food and drinks.“

“I had an amazing experience at Blue Line Tavern! The Blue Line hamburger were absolutely delicious — juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The tator tots were crispy, a perfect side dish. The beer selection was impressive, and served ice-cold just the way I like it.
The service was quick and the staff was friendly, making the experience even better. The dining area was clean, cozy, and inviting, with a warm atmosphere that made it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with my family.
I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food, drinks, and top-notch service. Definitely coming back!“

“Had a great experience here yesterday. Our family meant to go bar hopping, but ended up staying here all day because of the friendly and fun atmosphere. The food was excellent and the owners and employees were kind and welcoming. We especially appreciated our bartender Christopher who provided great service while engaging everyone at the bar. Very glad we stopped.“
“Wow...who knew! We are from FDL and were told about the fish fry in Oakfield at Oak Central.What a pleasant surprise! Friendly staff and costumers. The fish was outstanding.We had perch and cod..yummm the potato salad was delish too..We will be back!“

“I bought a shirt. That should say something. Two bars, great atmosphere. We showed up with little notice for 50 people and they made it work. They were awesome. Even with us waiting for 20 minutes while they made it work. The bartenders game the teenagers water without hesitation and with a smile. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food, and it came out hot. We were in 4 different tables but that was totally acceptable with that many people and so little notice. If you are in Fond Du Lac, you have to stop here. It is right at the bottom of the lake. :)“
