We arrived at 3:00. We were the only customers. Our server was friendly. We ordered 2 margaritas and we were brought chips and salsa. Salsa was fresh but nothing special. We ordered carnitas and birria burritos which took about 20 minutes to be served. Presentation was good but we were so disappointed in the flavors. Very bland. All tasted the same. The birria was dry and tasted a bit burned. No seasonings or spice. Even the rice was just w/o flavor. We’ve been here once before...
We went here to celebrate for my son's graduation on a Sunday night at 6 pm. We were seated right away, and the service was great (party of 5). He wanted a non-alcoholic margarita, and there were no issues with getting that. My youngest wanted a burger- he said it was delicious, while the rest of us ordered Mexican food and 2 desserts. We paid around $150 total before tip for 5 meals, 2 desserts, and drinks. We brought home 2 leftover boxes.
I had an appointment in Fond Du Lac and had the craving for some Mexican food for lunch. I googled Mexican restaurants in the area. I picked Los Mezcales due to a picture of the Quesi-birria. I showed up to the restaurant and it’s looks a little sketchy on the outside but I’m a female and by myself so everything scares me. However, walking into the restaurant felt very inviting. I ordered the Quesi-birria and did not regret it. This is the best Mexican food I’ve had, hands...
