I met some friends for breakfast at Rolling Meadows today and everything was wonderful. We had such a sweet, friendly waitress; very attentive. I had the Avocado Toast and they were happy to make it with a hard-boiled egg in place of the poached eggs it listed on the menu. The sourdough toast was so good and obviously homemade. It was the best breakfast I’ve had in years. My friends were all very pleased with their meals, too.

Well...been there. Done that. Nice people. Food was distinctly average. My omelet was overcooked. The hash browns tasted like old grease. The prices were higher than other FDL restaurants with the iced tea at around $3.80 and the addition of cheddar cheese $1.80. Oh well. Next!
A cozy old-fashioned restaurant. Decor was definitely dated, but everything was well-kept. Menu was large with plenty of breakfast options. Prices were a bit high for breakfast, but you get plenty of food for the price!
