Friendly waiters, typical resort pricing with bonus water view. Ate twice during a conference. Cheese curds were delicious. BBQ Chicken Quesadilla was very good. Friends had the salmon and burgers.
Definitely pay attention to the reviews. My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary at the Abbey. We decided to have dinner at the Waterfront restaurant after hearing they had live entertainment at night. The food is definitely overpriced. Literally a piece of meat + fries or onion ring for over $35. My husband's steak was very much undercooked. I had ordered the ribs and instead received the fish and chips. We had to wait additional time to get our meals corrected....
Had the fish fried dinner tonight. The meal was good but the batter on the fish was very thick almost rubbery. I even noticed a few other people picking the batter off.
Otherwise, the service is great atmosphere was great. They comped us our cheese curd appetizers because I forgot to bring them out, which was very nice.
