There are several dining establishments in this semi-rural county that I like but this one has a warmth and ambience that can’t be beat anywhere in Southern Wisconsin. The food is not fancy but always good. Today I stopped by for a solo lunch — spicy black bean burger with blue cheese, veggies and chips. There’s always at least one cold brew on tap that rounds out my food experience. Long tables accommodate groups or facilitate making new friends. Most of the time though...

Wow, this place has not lost its charm, excellent service, or the great food over the last 20yrs. If you like laid back fun and simple but high quality fare, put this amazing little gem on your must visit list. Oh, and they have a wonderful live music venue as well.

Delicious food and drinks! Got Cajun Tuna and Cajun Meatloaf for dinner, as well as Black beans soup. Everything was absolutely delicious, so we decided to stay for Irish coffee with some desserts! They were delicious, definitely recommend the turtle bars and carrot cake.And staff is especially amazing!
