AMAZING BREAD!!! And amazing people who make the bread! We were visiting the area from Chicago and were googling things in the area and Castlerock Sourdough popped up. We stopped by around 11a on a Wednesday and there was one loaf left. As we were leaving someone was driving down from the house and told us there would be more fresh bread around 4:30p. So went back around 4:40p but no bread.... but then we saw someone waving us up to the house! We drove up and they invited us inside....read full review
Wonderful sourdough, the flavor and texture is at least the equal of the best breads we've had in Europe. In my opinion, this bakery is a treasure that we're lucky to have in the Winona area -- actually in the entire Driftless Region. Available in some local stores, you can also buy this bread from their driveway kiosk.
