Okay, I like George's. This is a place where you want something to eat You can expect to eat bar food because you're at a bar. The drinks flow the atmosphere it's acceptable. Guess to be a busy place on a Friday or Saturday night.
Georges Lounge just over the river from Winona is a decent little Wisconsin style bar/tavern. Beer, booze, gambling and a little fried food. On this Sunday evening the place was quieter than are other visits. The bartender good and kept us amused with occasional small talk. With so many watering holes up and down Wisconsin Hwy 35 Georges really doesn’t do anything to stick out from the others but still has that old school charm feel.
