Food was very good. We especially enjoyed the guacamole made at our table. Only issue was our server disappeared for awhile when we needed our check. Overall we will be back, too good not to.

My son ordered a medium rare burger and got a very thin dry burger. He even said it was the driest burger he's ever had and asked for more sauce to put on it. We were charged $2.50 for a dollop of sauce and took so long his burger was cold by the time the sauce arrived. However, My tacos were good and waitress was friendly. The restaurant was cold and I kept my coat on the entire time. Disappointed as I usually love this establishment.

Made a recent return to Jose's and had a solid time with the fam. Everyone left full and satisfied. This restaurant is kind of oddly placed, tucked in the back of a parking lot along the highway. Perk is you'll always find parking. When you enter, you immediately get the full Mexican restaurant feel. Loved our server, as she was so attentive and really sweet, especially interacting with my son. She was quick to bring us a jumbo basket of chips to start, which comes with a really good dark salsa. My dad and I both noted how much we liked it. These are complimentary, but we just haddd to order the table-side guac as well. They push over a little cart to make it in front of you, and you can decide the spice level. Medium was perfect, and it was a hefty bowl of guac! My mom and I split the grill skirt steak fajitas for an entree. They were kind enough to split it to two plates and bring us extra tortillas since they know we were sharing. It all comes on a sizzling platter with sautéed onions & grilled peppers, and a side of lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream & cheese. Lots of great flavor and the steak was cooked just right. My husband was a little impartal about his black mole burrito, but maybe that's kind of an acquired taste. I wasn't a fan either when I gave it a try. Dad championed his tacos. Oh and naturally margaritas were enjoyed all around. Solid spot for a good Mexican meal!

Jose's has long been our family favorite with our dining in 2-3 times a month. We recently moved out of the city and hadn't been in for a while. We came into town last night and immediately went to Jose's for dinner. New menus with higher prices were not a surprise. The quality of my food was. I always have the Huracan surf and turf burrito as I really like it. It was full of beef and shrimp and delicious. Last night the burrito was the same size as always, but the beef was definitely not the same quality, nor was it was it as filled. This burrito was filled with a small amount of beef, 3 shrimp, a huge handful of cheese (way more than usual), and had a double layer of tortilla running through the center as a filler (which was never there before). It also had so much cilantro that that was all I tasted. I can honestly say that I've had better burritos out of a taco truck.Service was also not great. The restaurant was pretty empty when we came in. Once seated we waited almost 10 minutes to be acknowledged, and that was after the party that came in after us in the same area placed their drink orders. All in all, if the margarita had not been good I would have left one star. Hopefully this was a one time error and I will try again. Please don't disappoint twice.

They serve a very tasty blackened sea bass taco. The accompanying chipotle salsa tasted fresh and authentic. The frozen mango margarita was delicious and had enough tequila but was not too strong.

The food was good, but not great. But I can't say it was bad, it just wasn't my style of Mexican food. I would recommend it for anybody to try it at least once. And make up your own mind about it.
