Pumpkin Sandwich Cookies: These have been on my pumpkin treats to to try list for a few autumns now. With there being so many treats and such little time I've never gotten around to getting them. This year I prioritized them, but were they worth it? Opening the container I was greeted by an aroma that was not unlike a good pumpkin pie. Each package comes with a whopping 16 cookies. I wish there was a smaller size, but this is it. Each cookie is a lovely pumpkin orange and contains a sweet and creamy filling. Although they are not very wide, they are rather thick. Texturally the cookies are soft and chewy. As far as I could tell all the pumpkin flavor is in the cookies with the cream just being a generic/sweet flavored addition. These are good, but they could have been great with a simple swap. Take away the flavorless cream and replace it with a cream cheese flavored cream. Pumpkin and cream cheese just work so well together that it's a shame not to do this! Even caramel flavored cream or dare I say latte flavored cream would take these to the next level. I had a tough time coming to a final verdict on these. In the end, I have to say they're just okay because I can easily stop myself after one. The cookies are solid, but as mentioned the cream could use some work. *These are better than the Pumpkin Spice OREOs, which although tasty, taste nothing like pumpkinDoughboy_Food_Reviews
