“I was scared when I read the reviews on this place, but I really wanted some B-dubs. I'm glad I did! Nothing in these negative reviews is anything like I experienced. My food was hot and delicious, everything was correct, and it came up to the windows very quickly. I'm not sure why this place is getting so much heat, but in my opinion it is unwarranted.

We come here weekly like clockwork now - before moving here it was my choice when I’d come up from IL to visit (when it was my time to pick) - for the Jacks, Ecto Cooler & the Parm fries but also for the EXCEPTIONAL service by Katie. She helps me navigate this large, fabulous menu & she has never steered us wrong. She is so knowledgeable, fast & friendly. I only wish every place had a Katie to accent a menu this delicious. “I got to eat there for the first time last week at 10:45 PM. That's a late dinner, but it was really good. The young ladies at the counter were super nice and bright. Even though it was a late hour, the food was really good. And the service was outstanding.
I highly recommend it if you're looking for it's the really brightly lit place on the westbound side of capital. But I loved it the! I would give them more stars if I could. 🤩“

“Royal Street MKE formally Daq Shack MKE underwent a beautiful transformation inside but the heart, quality of food and service are the same...wonderful! It's always like visiting family here, the main bartender always remembers us even though we only come a couple times a year when in the area. Food is always fresh, hot and delicious. Absolutely go if you're in Milwaukee try all the flavors they provide with the daiquiris.“

“Went there last night(August 2nd, 2026) and the lady at the front was very nice.
They were very busy and it took them around 20 mins to get my food but it was definitely worth it.
I ordered the 6 piece mixed chicken combo and every piece was nice and juicy, the batter was well seasoned, and that strawberry shortcake was so moist.

“03/02/2025 2 pieces of cat fish fried hard. Season very well and taste GREAT. Yam are really good not heavy soaked in juice. Macaroni are good just not creamy like I like but still decent n the potatoe salad was good too. I would give it a 9.5/10“

“The service was warming. The young lady made sure we had everything we needed. She recognized it was my first time visiting their establishment. You could tell she had a relationship with their customers. Which says a lot. The fish was fresh and fried with a great golden coating. The pieces were a nice size not tiny and shriveled up. ???? We will be returning. We thank you for great service.Note: Don't allow the exterior to detour you from trying them out. It may not be fancy however everything was fresh and it didn't look dirty.

This is my go to location. Parking is kind of hard to find but eventually you’ll find parking. Staff is very friendly“

“I had stopped patronizing JJ’s because of such bad service-then I happen to stop by the JJ’s on 62nd and Capitol-Upon enter I was created by Lou who was kind, the lobby was clean and the food was great! I had order a catfish dinner and forgot it on the counter. I called the restaurant and was told to come back-I went the next day not realizing the staff made the dinner the day before.sure enough Lou gave me a slight tongue lashing with a smile and prepared me dinner. I went today and the same nice smile of Big Lou was there to greet me! Chicken was hot the fries were hotter and the lemonade/strawberry drink was refreshing! From the moment I walked in, they were welcoming, respectful, and attentive. You can tell they care about what they do, and it shows in both their service and their attitude.

The food was hot, fresh, and full of flavor just what you expect from Wingstop. My order came out on time, and everything was made just right. The cook clearly knows what they’re doing, and the team works well together to create a positive vibe in the restaurant.
