“Wife and I went for a long walk along the east side then decided to look for a sushi restaurant. Found this place close by. We ordered 5 different rolls and some veggie Stirfry w a side of rice. Everything was excellent! We had a great experience. Reasonable prices. We would go back.“

“I’m a frequent FreshFin customer, and I was extremely excited that R & R had gluten-free sweet shoyu!! 😱 My custom bowl was perfect, and there are a lot of really interesting bowls on the menu. Lots of options for different styles, a variety of sides, AND boba tea! ✨ Super friendly staff too, I’m new to the area excited I have a new spot!!“

“Xiao long bao and their special fujian wonton were delicious! The dumplings seem homemade and also tasty. The shrimp dumpling was not my favorite though. I feel like prices are a little high, but there arent a lot of Chinese restaurants to choose from in the area. Service was great.“

“Now - I passed this place every time I got my eyebrows done at Exquisite Threading. I heard this place was good and decided to go for my birthday. Seriously, I’m sooo glad I did. This food here is spectacular. We had the rock shrimp, crab cake, California roll, shumai shrimp dumplings, Wauwatosa roll and Jason roll. Everything was DELICIOUS! We went early on a Friday evening which was perfect. Around 6:30pm or so, this place gets super busy. I do understand why!!!! This place is incredible.“

“Incredibly legit northern Chinese restaurant. As an ABC (American born Chinese), I was literally the least Chinese person there when we went. Seems like the whole Chinese population in Milwaukee knows about this place, and it definitely deserves the recognition.
They have an extensive menu, but their northern style foods really stand out - dumplings, noodle/soup noodle dishes, and certain stir fries that are more specifically from northern China. Our favorites that we ordered were the 地三鲜 (eggplant, potato, and green pepper) and 麻辣汤米线 (spicy soup with noodles?).
Their food does seem to run on the salty side, but it’s also because it is mostly intended to go with white rice.
Will definitely be coming back.“

“So great I had to share! I went in after a long day at work and ordered a bowl to go. I walked outside and it slipped out of my hands and all over the street. I was so frustrated and upset, but I went back inside to buy another bowl. I explained my situation and NOT ONLY did they give me a new bowl for free, BUT GAVE ME A RICE CRISPY TREAT TO CHEER ME UP!❤️ I’m not sure what the lady’s name was that helped me, but that was the best customer service I have ever had. 100% recommend this place! “We are locals and regular patrons of NaNa. In several vacations out of town we have ordered from sushi places, assuming we would get something of similar or a superior quality than what we were used to. We have been disappointed time and time again in other restaurants. It turns out no one can live up to the quality and tastiness of our hometown favorite, Nana in Shorewood. I think we will stop trying when we are on vacation and just be happy when we get home to Milwaukee to be able to have Nana sushi again. It is excellent quality, delicious, and reasonably priced. We have ordered both sushi rolls and dinners such as sesame chicken countless times. If it was socially/financially appropriate to eat there every night we probably would. Thank you Nana, we didn’t realize how lucky we were to have the best sushi restaurant around just down the street from us!“

“They have the best ramen that I have ever had. I don't eat pork, so it can be hard to find pork-free ramen that's flavorful. This bowl is so tasty on its own that you do not need to add any meat (or tofu) to it. I've ordered other things, but usually wish I had just stuck with the ramen cuz it's that good. Unless you can stand a lot of heat, go with the mild which is still pretty spicy. And I grew up eating Indian food, so heat is something I'm used to. And: Help support small businesses like Maki Yaki during this difficult time! You can get the ramen as take out...“

“RuYi never disappoints. The quality of the food is always excellent. Portion sizes will please everyone. They have expanded RuYi's into two locations within the casino. The old Buffet area has been converted to a RuYi and Fire Pit combo to-go service or pick-up and dine-in this large area. While the long lines were worth the wait, you no longer have to stand around in the lobby. Simply order At the front register and then go in and grab a seat, and get a free soda, visit with your friends or family, and it will bring it to your table. Check out these photos. “Our habachi cook was so amazing and was so fun! The prices are pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get. A kids meal is $17 for chicken or $19 for steak and you get a giant mound of food for the price. The service here is amazing and the food is too!“
