“We drove past this place when we were house hunting in August and decided not to stop because it was too busy-- big mistake! Big! Huge! It's taken us 6 months to finally try it and we will not go to a chain Italian restaurant again! The ambiance was great; son in law kept saying it felt very "homey". Service was great as well. Interacted with probably 5 different people all of whom were friendly. The food-- SOOO Good! Being our first time here, we tried a variety of items; House Special pizza, Spicy Garlic Marinara pasta and Pesto pasta, as well as brownie cheesecake dessert. NOTHING disappointed! The meatballs on the marinara dish were very flavorful, pasta cooked just right. Same with the pesto pasta-- picky son in law even liked the chicken! My pizza snob husband and daughter were super impressed with the pizza; thin crust with no lack of flavor! We will definitely be back soon!“

“Stopped in to pick-up some take and bake pizzas; The sub smelled delicious so we decided to try a Chicken! ? And Philly, the subs were equally good. The Philly tasted more like a "hot-beef sandwich" than a Philly to me. The Chicken! Was okay...cold shredded chicken with lettuce tomato onion pickles, and mayo. I added banana peppers and cucumbers to my surprise it was $1 a piece that was quite a shock, besides that, prices were decent. Lastly, the atmosphere was fantastic! “I decided to stop by this place for lunch since I was visiting the city and saw some good reviews from previous customers. I ordered the Italian beef sandwich and I was not disappointed. It was full of beef and smothered in cheese with a side of au jus. There was seating inside and I was the only customer at the time. The owner was working behind the counter and was very professional and polite. I will be stopping by here again next time I'm in town and will have to try the pizza.“
“We came in on the evening on 3/15 with apx 45 parents and youth wrestlers. I believe her name was Mary at the counter. She was AMAZING!!! She moved us through as quickly as possible for a group our size. Food came out fast and HOT. We are so thankful to all the staff for their hard work and excellent service. In my opinion, it joins Stuc's Pizza (Appleton), Faye's Pizza (Sheboygan), Firehouse Pizza (Sheboygan Falls), and Jim's Place (Slinger) that locals seem to love.From the time we placed our order till the pizza arrived was like 1 hour and 45 minutes. My suggestion would be to call ahead or just enjoy the wait. We each ordered a slice of pizza which is the size of a small pizza and tried the salad/soup bar which was very good. They also offer free premade small ice cream sundaes for customers that dine in.Observations:1) Fun watching these towering pizza's get made and placed in the oven. They certainly don't skimp on any fresh mushrooms for those people that love them.2) Across from the bathroom doors is an employee only glass door which you can watch the pizza oven's mechanical components operating.3) Very large staff works inside Cranky Pat's (Green Bay)My four star review is based solely on wait time. “Nice place to stop for a beer, and well we didn't eat It appeared there was a lot of good food going out to the patrons that were. We did have some very good beer choices and enjoyed the ability to pick from multiple breweries. There were probably 25 to 30 different tap choices. This included even vodka based opportunities. It was a fun stop. It's located right along the Riverwalk which made it very easy to get to by walk. It's not that far from the Neville Museum which is where we were planning to visit but we're early and hadn't opened yet.“
“Upon arrival, the bartender glanced at me and didn't say a word. Okay, I get it. Maybe he just started his shift? I told him I was waiting on my order and when he came back with it he didn't look in my direction or say one word. Just placed it on the counter and walked away. That's one way to create an uninviting environment. Apart from the complete lack of service, the food was stellar for the most part. The Carolina BBQ wings are the best I've had thus far since moving to Green Bay from Texas. The boneless wings were the crispiest wings I've had in a while! The only complaints I have is that the ranch tastes like store bought ranch, not made in house. Had I known that I would have made other choices. Also, the Garlic Parmesan sauce just didn't do it for me. It tastes likes it's missing something. Lastly, we have to talk about the carrots and celery y'all! My dog even refused to eat the carrots and she LOVES carrots. *If you want to prevent them from drying out and becoming limp as shown in my photos then you need to keep them in water.“

“Something I totally recommend is the Christmas cookies. I've been going every year because they have the best Christmas cookies to bake and they are so easy. All you have to do it put them on the tray and bake them. They have the directions on the wrapper to make it even easier. They are precut Christmas cookies and they are absolutely delicious. Plus you get some great service there too.“
