The food is amazing, but it seems like they're never open. Every time I go to place an order, they either don't answer the phone at all, or say they're no longer taking orders when it's hours before closing. It's very frustrating trying to order food from here. I've tried to order 15+ times but only succeeded in actually eating here twice.
We have been going there for many years. The food and service have fluctuated, but for the past 5 years or so, the food was great, and kept us coming back. Tonight must have been an off night. It was a Sunday after 5. The soup and rice were barely warm. The rest was ok, but not their usual. The egg foo young was NOT in patty form like it is at other times and anywhere else you go. I’ve known the owners for many years. I taught their children in elementary school.They were always very generous and kind, and when I did a unit on Japan, they offered menus, placemats, and chopsticks for the students to use. And I’m talking two hundred students not 20!They give it to the community and the schools and are very hard-working.
