Really love this cafe. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner all day. So my mom and I were able to order off the Friday Fish menu at 10:30am. Cod and shrimp meals were both great and an excellent deal. Meals included soup or salad, coleslaw, corn, and choice of potato. Shrimp were huge and seemed like they were battered at the restaurant. Very tasty. Breakfast dishes are also great here. Highly recommend.
Went on a midday monday. Many restaurants in Hartford are closed on mondays and thought we would give them a try. First impression was nothing fancy but clean place, very friendly staff. Menu was good and prices were fair. Waiter greeted us warmly and asked if we wanted something to drink while we looked through the menu. Drinks came fast and no pushing us to order. He came back when he saw I was ready and took our orders and explained what came with order and options. Food...
I have eaten here on quite a few occasions and I must say I have never been disappointed. Everything that i have odered so far has been great. I ordered a Julienne salad today, and it looked like it belonged in a magazine! The staff was super friendly as well.
