Not expecting to find "fine dining" in remote areas of northern Wisconsin, but The Edge is a pleasant simple surprise - offering a scratch kitchen that makes food to order that is competent and solid. Worth the drive from the typical Minocqua "we don't care" restaurant inventory.
We've been coming here since they opened, and never have we had a bad meal. Steaks are awesome and made perfectly to order. Burgers and fish frys are excellent. We've come by snowmobile so we can go have breakfast there too. Glen and Kris are terrific and are usually there. They do close for a week or two during the year, so I suggest calling first
Was there a week age for Sunday breakfast. Ordered the prime rib eggs and hashbrowns. Rib I believe was packaged but good, hashbrowns tasty, eggs done to order. Service was good. Nice clean place.
