Beautiful location, delicious food, and wonderful service! Highly recommend!
12/18/25 First time back since new owners and it was fantastic! Our waitress Eva told us it was a brand new chef that cooked our steaks and they were excellent! Cooked to perfection and the tastiest filet and NY pepper/garlic strip ever! Superb 5 star service (ask for EVA!) Wonderful cozy atmosphere, and watching the turkey and deer right outside the window was amazing! Going back to try the fishfry!
Our first time back since the new owners and we were blown away! I understand there is a new chef, and our steaks were great! We had the filet and pepper/garlic NY strip... perfectly cooked and soooo tasty! Eva was personable, friendly and gave us 5 star service! Coming back for the fish fry soon!

The tenderloin and ribs are also highly recommended. Despite the distance, many are willing to make the hour-long drive for a memorable dining experience at Alpine Retreat. Classic ice cream forward cocktails, such as the Pink Squirrel, add to the charm.
