Came to enjoy dinner with husband. Alpine Retreat holds many wonderful memories for us. Food quality never disappoints. BUT super disappointed with noise volume. It was outrageously loud. We ate in silence at our table for two because it required shouting across the table. Everyone was shouting to hear. Couldn’t wait to get out. Think OSHA could have measured the noise and determined it harmful. Feel sorry for the wait staff.
I was back at this place yesterday. Awesome as usual. Only recommendation I would give is for them to put another bartender behind the bar. Bob was doing a great job but definitely could have used some help back there. Otherwise, my one of my favorite places!
A gem of a super club. Well prepared dishes in a lovely setting. Sit at the bar and watch the wildlife outside the picture window and then cozy up in the dining room for a feast. Don't forget the classic ice cream forward cocktails, such as the Pink Squirrel.
