Brueske's Bread is a fresh baked, local, and friendly bakery in Hudson. It is a great little location where the community can come together, and the owners are knowledgeable about bread making, passionate about the product, and so very courteous and kind. The best sourdough bread is delicious and toasts up all golden and smells delicious. They offer wonderful sourdough options, pretzels, jams, teas, focaccia bread, pretzel rolls, white bread, rye bread, and pizza dough starters. Their Bavarian pretzels and sweet German mustard are spot on. The focaccia bread is versatile and wonderful. For those who are gluten sensitive, the owner explains that all of their breads are sourdough fermented, a process that reduces gluten levels. The products are the best around and sell fast, so it is best to arrive close to opening. It is worth a trip or a special drive, as it has become a weekly routine for many. This sweet family is a bright spot and the ultimate example of a small town family owned business.
