Best sandwiches in town!!
Amazing subs! Best place in town
First I want to say whoever owns the Subhouse should be VERY proud of their staff. When we walked in & saw three young boys working we weren’t sure what to expect. I did not catch names, but they were some of the most friendly and respectful boys around. We’re still blown away by how they handled the place and us as customers - including our toddler. Not that they knew, this was actually our first time ever stopping in. Clean, spacious environment, food came out quickly/was...read full review

The Subhouse is a well-known restaurant in Hudson, renowned for its delicious sub sandwiches and refreshing lemonade. The ingredients used are always fresh, and the service is efficient, making it a great option for families with kids, who can enjoy mini sub meals and kid-friendly juice boxes. Prices are reasonable, and the quality of the food is top-tier. The curry chicken salad sandwich is a unique and popular choice.
The restaurant has a quaint but comfortable atmosphere, located just a block off the waterfront. The staff is friendly, cheery, and attentive, providing excellent customer service. The bread is widely praised as the best, with a variety of options to choose from. Customers appreciate the clean and spacious environment, as well as the quick and well-presented food. The Groz (sub of the month) and the cheesy asparagus soup have received particularly positive reviews. The restaurant also offers a variety of vegetarian options, including three sandwich choices and soup choices.
Recently, customers have noted that the subs are better than those from chains like Jimmy Johns or Jersey Mikes, with the Triple Zest Italian being a favorite among some. However, there have been occasional disappointments, such as issues with the size of the sandwiches and the quality of the bread. Overall, The Subhouse continues to be a nice local sub shop on the main strip, serving a wide variety of made-to-order hot and cold subs on a variety of rolls and wraps.
