This cute little bakery in the heart of iron River Wisconsin is pretty great. The owner is so friendly and the bread itself is delicious. I would say the fried goods maybe need to be cooked at a higher temperature so they don't absorb as much grease, but the flavor of everything was delicious. Every time we pass through iron River, this is a place we plan on stopping at.. got a loaf of bread and it was so goooood!
Give warning if your going to be closed on a day you are normally opened!! Because we came a long ways to get your bakery on this Tuesday morning & had to head back to our cabin empty handed. ? We were there on 7/20/21 7am with 4 people with a good size order.
I grew up going to this bakery when it was Marion's. Thirty years later, the recipes and quality are just as good. I get an apple fritter every time I come through - if they haven't sold out for the day.And prices are cheap! Terrific value!
