When someone orders carryout 2 things egg roll should be in a separate package never inside with the lunch where it was soggy and full of the juice from the lunch special. When people order egg rolls they don't expect them to be soggy and inedible.

Overall, good service in a dark and red atmosphere reminiscent of old Chinese restaurants (which I guess this is). Everything feels old-ish, even the food.

Potions aren't necessarily huge - not enough to take home - we ended up eating everything there (2 couples, 4 dishes + soup and eggrolls)

Dishes are generally tasty, but not so good that I'm dying to go back. In fact, I'm probably not going back even if I'm in town. It wasn't a bad meal. But it did feel like all the dishes tastes like one another, and had interesting twists. I mean, how is that possible with Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken, Pork Lomein, and Hunan Shrimp essentially taste the same? Orange chicken came with huge pieces of broccoli. Mongolian beef was swimming in sauce and mushrooms instead of green onions. Pork noodles had a lot more veggies than either pork or noodles.

And yet, everything was tasty, while different. So yea... ?‍♀️

Weeks ago I celebrated my birthday here with my wife. We loved the atmosphere. The food was honestly the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. My soup was flavorful. The dinner portions are huge. The staff were very kind. All in all a really great experience. I can’t wait to visit Janesville again and enjoy another meal at the Cozy Inn.

Vegetarian options: Flexible menu choices. Noodles are flavorful and delicious, they have an assortment of vegetables in the veg lo mein.

Met with family today at Cozy Inn and it was awesome as usual!!! I’ve been enjoying dinners there for 30+ years and have never been disappointed. The best Chinese food in the Midwest! Great atmosphere and service. Amanda had her hands full with our group and the restaurant was full at 1:00!! She’s always been the best host!

Our food was delicious; our waitress was knowledgeable about the history as well as the food. She provided great service. I recommend Cozy Inn 100%

Please make sure to look at your bill especially when paying by card.Firstly they charged us way more then what the menu said per plate.The second thing they did was after we left actual dollar bills as a tip, they then proceeded to give themseleves a 10 dollar extra tip from my card. I didnt realize this until after the transaction completely went through my card. So just be careful because they steal.The food itself didnt have much flavor, nothing was reallly good.
