My boyfriend and I had a terrible experience. The food was overcooked, and some of the fried sushi we got was raw. My boyfriend was upset about everything because the total was 84 dollars! And he did not want to tip the waiter because he left us waiting for a long period of time. He gave the waiter the card to pay, and the waiter said loudly "oh your not tipping?". We felt the waiter was out of line and that he was completely rude and disrespectful.

We wanted to try hibachi for my dad’s birthday - I called earlier in the day to see if I could make a reservation, as we had a group of 7, and I was told by the girl who answered the phone, no. My parents arrived early, with my elderly grandma, so that we wouldn’t need to wait when our whole party arrived. We were told it would be 5 minutes once our whole party arrived, then we were told it would be an additional 10-15 minutes, then we were finally told it would be an additional 20-25 minutes. I have no problem waiting; however, when the front receptionist does not provide the right information the first or second time, you can see how this would be ungodly frustrating. We ended up leaving, as we were tired of waiting for the receptionist to provide some sort of accurate information. Your inability to allow reservations and inaccurate wait times are truly a disappointment on my dad’s birthday. I’m extremely disappointed at the service received from the hostess and we will not be back.

Constantly leaving the phone off the hook so people can't order is NEVER GOING TO GET YOU ANY CUSTOMERS. Close down if you can't handle the orders. Not to mention anyone trying to get ahold of someone there or a worker. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. IF YOUR GOING TO KEEP A BUSY SIGNAL ON PURPOSE THEN CLOSE YOUR DOORS We don't need another trash restaurant that doesn't care about the customers in this town

Very impressed with this place Food was amazing I am very picky eater and they were very accommodating.Atmosphere was nice.Chef was hilarious and very entertaining.Would recommend to anyone.
I really tried to like this place. It was always the place to be 20 years ago when I was in high school. Walking in we saw floor trim peeling off and stained carpets, the servers wanted sign should have given us a hint as to what we were walking into though. We sat in a booth and kept admiring the cobwebs on the light above the table and mystery stains on the walls. Edamame was cold, crab Rangoon tasted sour. That was enough. We had to flag our waitress down, she was sitting on her phone with 6 tables waiting on her to wait on us. Poor cook was hobbling out food and asking if we needed anything, smiling and genuinely seemed like he wanted us to enjoy being there. Yikes. This place has potential, I was there when it was nice so I know it can be.

Service was terrible. The waiter never cleared our plates from our appetizers, our salads or soup. Never brought my son a water or anything to drink. I had to ask for a box and the check and still when I asked for the check he did not take away any of the dirty dishes on the table. The food was mediocre. Atmosphere was dingy. Will not be returning. Pick a different restaurant if you're in janesville.

I love Fuji steakhouse the food is always delicious and staff are awesome and chefs are very entertaining always my go to spot when I visit Janesville I'm from Beloit but definitely worth the trip I recommend this place . Side note I love Asians.

Our experience was very hit or miss. The steak was absolutely perfect, and the soup was the best we have had. On the other hand, the hibachi chicken and shrimp was drowned in a sauce that I believe is teriyaki, and since there were teriyaki items on the menu, I wasn't expecting it to be on my hibachi or else I would have asked not to have it. It was very sweet and while the sauce wasn't bad, it did upset my stomach to try to eat so much of it. There was also a hair pretty entangled in a piece of my broccoli, and while it didn't stop me from eating the rest, I feel like it should be noted. They also have a really cool wooden carving that I recommend taking a look at as well. Overall, if we are in the area again, we will be coming back, but we will probably stick to the steak. Prices are very nice too.
